LiuGong is established in 1958 and develops some of China’s first construction machinery. In 1966, the company’s first modernised wheel loader is launched, the Z435.
LiuGong strikes a deal to use Caterpillar technology in its machines, improving durability and performance. The excavator and roller factories are accelerated.
In 2004, LiuGong establishes its first overseas in division in Australia. The 100,000th wheel loader is produced in 2006, a milestone achievement. Just 4 years later the 200,000th wheel loader is produced.
LiuGong and Cummins announce a joint venture, improving engine performance.
